Mid- Level Accountant

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Mid level Accountant to join our finance team. The Junior Accountant will assist with various accounting tasks, such as recording and reconciling financial transactions, preparing financial statements, and verifying the accuracy of invoices and payments. The successful candidate should have a basic understanding of accounting principles, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in recording financial transactions and maintaining accurate financial records.
Reconcile accounts and prepare account analysis and monthly reports.
Verify the accuracy of invoices and payments and resolve any discrepancies.
Prepare financial statements and other financial reports.
Assist in preparing and analyzing budgets and forecasts.
Assist with tax compliance, including preparing tax returns and providing support during tax audits.
Participate in the month-end and year-end closing processes.
Perform other duties and special projects as assigned by the senior accountant or finance manager.

Requirements/Qualifications

H.ND/ B.SC
3-5 years of experience in accounting or related fields.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly in Excel.
Knowledge of accounting software and ERP systems.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
